Thinking of buying a PS3, convince me!

Good afternoon users of Reddit,

For the past 2 weeks I have been considering buying one of these bad boys. I’d like to occasionally use it alongside my Switch and Wii which I have both set up in my room and play games with friends when they come over (kind of a loner so won’t be a regular occurrence lol).

The console seems like it has some interesting titles but there are just so many to choose from, what would you all recommend? Also, which version of the PS3 should I buy. The way I was thinking is that the PS3 slim would be the best option for me to avoid clutter, I saw online that the Super Slim had worse build quality so I don’t think that’s the one for me. What do you all think?

Some of the games that I love on the Switch and Wii are:

  • Rayman Origins and Legends
  • Kirby and the Forgotten Land
  • Stardew Valley
  • Hollow Knight
  • LOZ Twilight Princess
  • LOZ Breath of the Wild
  • Any racing game
  • Mario Party (maybe there’s a party game counterpart for PS3 that’s worth giving a shot?)

Also would love to try RDR1 for PS3 since I loved playing GTA V on my Xbox One before I sold it. Are there any more games like those on the system?
