Got Any Game Recommendations?

So, I'm behind the PS curve and could use some recommendations. I've finally gotten a PS3 and a few games, and I also have gift cards to spend on more games.

What kinds of games I like: Final Fantasy (7, 9, 12), Dragon Quest series, Dark Cloud, Okami, Spyro, Legaia, [dot] Hack, Twisted Metal, Odin Sphere. (non-PS specific, but I have Skyrim Anniversary Edition, Fallout 1-4 and New Vegas, and Borderlands on my PC, just for additional ideas of the kinds of games I like.)

I like good, cohesive stories, exploring, and minor building as long as they're mixed with RPG elements.

What kinds of ideas do you folks have?
