PPop Groups don't have their own style

Sorry about this I'm just expressing my opinion feel free to correct me, I want to have an open mind about this but for me PPop groups don't have their own style for example SB19 and BINI. I just don't like that they're imitating KPop groups or korean style in every aspect with their choreo, music, fashion, sound etc. For me they're only considered OPM because their songs are in or have Tagalog in it, they're based in the Philippines and they're Filipinos but their style doesn't have a distinct feel to it to make me say that it's OPM just feels like I'm listening to KPop songs in Tagalog. That's why you hear or see people bashing them, basically saying they're just KPop wannabes.

Maybe this is just my personal bias speaking because I'm not into KPop I was never into it, I still prefer western music when it comes to foreign music and when it comes to OPM I still prefer old school bands like Eraserheads, Moonstar88 along with others, old school/early 2010s pinoy rap while modern artists that I like are Ben & Ben, Juan Karlos etc. those for me are truly OPM.

As for the entire state of OPM right now, I think our music is getting better but right now PPop groups just doesn't do it for me. Having said all of that, I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions about this I like to change my mind because I want to appreciate them as well but right now I can't get pass their music style as they don't have anything unique.
