Bad decisions or wasted resources by ppop companies/artists

What are some of the worst decisions made by ppop companies or artists concerning sa pag release ng any material na under the following:

  1. Music itself
  2. Music video
  3. pubmats and promotional materials (not including mga PR posts)
  4. concerts

As much as possible let's avoid na yung decisions ng ABS-CBN regarding bgyo and bini. Stop beaing the dead horse na. Let's discuss yung mga bad decisions/missed opportunities na nagawa so far ng mga companies na more concerned on the music etc. side instead of mga personal issues kasi nagiging chikaph yung thread kapag ganon yung usapan.

My list:

  1. Most recent disappointment for me, Alamat's Dayang MV. Could have been way better without the DITO sponsorship. I understand na good for the group yung endorsement, pero when you listen to the song I feel like it deserves a better video pati a different concept, different outfits. In my opinion, yung chorus is so good and I feel like the members should have been wearing more "sensual/sexy" outfits, not the one they were wearing na very colorful and parang hindi match sa kanta. Parang mas okay ata kung yung approach ng music video lalo na sa chorus is parang yung Love shot ni Kai, not saying na copy it pero parang imagine lang na parang mas sexy yung dating ng video.
  2. 1st.one - expensive music video did not feel like an expensive video. If totoo talaga yung figure na nagastos, I feel like it's such a huge waste of resources that could have been put into other stuff (like pang bayad sa better producer)
  3. SB19's alab music video. The intro is so random, medyo nakaka disconnect din yung Korean haha. The font used doesn't help, sobrang graphic design is my passion.
