What is your diet that helps your symptoms?

I was just recently diagnosed with POTs, but symptoms got worse this past June when I got COVID, making me see my PCP in November (I just thought it was worsening anxiety) then a cardiologist a week ago. I received a lot of great education from the cardiologist regarding how to manage symptoms and was prescribed propranolol to help with my tremors and heart rate. The only info I didn’t get from him was how I was supposed to eat besides liberalizing salt intake and increase water intake. From what I’ve read here a lot of you all are on low carb diets. I’m a bedside nurse on a cardiac/tele floor so I need food that will sustain me for a few hours until I take a break and can eat. What are your favorite snacks? What diet do you follow to try to help your symptoms? I’m doing everything else- thigh high socks, taking time before I stand up, watching my bp so I don’t over do it with salt and water.
