Question, why did nephilim remained roaming Earth after dead?

It is said angels conceived children with women, birthing giants. Upon their deaths, these "giants" remained on Earth (until God either imprisoned them in Hell or let Mastema use them). Why is this? (I ask here to see your opinions.)
