Course change dilemma
Last year I selected chemistry because at the time I needed it. However, things changed and now I don't even need 12U chem because I'm pursuing a BA in psychology instead of a BSc. I don't really want to go through the stress of taking chem next semester if it's not necessary, and I figured that taking a course that would boost my grade would be the better option.
I went to guidance and I wanted to switch to Challenge and Change to correlate with my choice of pursuing psychology, however, the class is full. I've gotten permission to nag my guidance counsellor every week about a spot opening up, but there's no guarantee that will happen. I've been given very few options, all of which I'm not that happy about.
Here are my only course options, according to my counsellor:
- CHY4U History
- CIA4U Economics
- BOH4M Business leadership
- NDW4M Indigenous studies
- Stay in SCH4U Chemistry
