Alternatives for people who can't provide fingerprint

Hi everyone. I am a student planning to study abroad and Oman is one of my options. But due to medical reasons I have issues scanning my finger print for biometric collection for Id creation.

Is there any way to know if the Oman government provides alternatives to finger print scanning that does not require physical contact? Who can I contact? My home country has provided me with alternatives.
