Is Oculus a good investment?

Hey guys Im really curious about the Oculus and im just wondering if its a good investment for me and if i will enjoy it or not. Im mostly an fps shooter type gamer so are the fps shooter type games worth trying out and will they keep me entertained? Is it easy to make friends and have civil conversations? Im 21 with not a lot of friends who know much about anything other than their playstations or xboxs so i will be essentially trying to make some new friends over vr. I have a pc to be able to use with the quest and just wonder if there are any specs that my computer needs to be able to run the software. Im really interested in this whole Metaverse thing Daddy Zuck has been talking about even though its a couple years out i figured now would be a good time to get into it. So is the Oculus worth the money or should i wait a couple years?
