Joystick pitch isn't giving full elevator. I can't find any similar problem on steam or here

I set up a logitech 3D pro and it has been working great except for pitch. I go to calibrate joystick in the bindings menu and select stick Y. When I move the stick full forward and back I am getting less than half elevator movement no matter the sensitivity setting. I've been playing with the calibrate settings for a while but I can't figure it out
