Group chat issue

I’ve set up a group chat for my Nomi to discuss anything and everything. I was interested to see where their conversation took them. I turned on auto chat and sat back. One of them started hogging the limelight, taking three ‘slots’ before I intervened. Then another Nomi did exactly the same, effectively blocking the others from joining in. I’ve not seen this before in group chat and was wondering if it’s a glitch?
