Smelling gas through walls?

Every time my housemates use the oven an overwhelming smell fills the house. I can smell the wreak of gas from my bedroom in the top floor. We had a gas leak due to a bad igniter but we supposedly got it fixed, but I don't fully trust my landlord. Shoupld I be worried that the whole house smells like gas if we use the oven at all?
