The Legend Of Zelda : Already a New Era ?
With the release of 'tears of the kingdom' being a final goodbye to mainline Zelda and Aonuma going BACK on his word concerning 'top-down' Zelda games(previously say they'd drift away from them but actually realized it was stupid), the team behind the game face a New situation : How to top such a Big game, and most importantly, How to innovate enough ? Here's my theory : While a lot of the Zelda team was focused on tears of the kingdom, i strongly believe re-using assests such as the Map, items, music and engine was a Big help during developpement, for one Big reason : the other half of the team was already preparing for the next title. But what could they do to make newcomers want to buy this one ? Could it be an MMO, using the mouse joy-cons? Focusing on multiplayer, Hence why they had a NSO playtest ? Or could they go another way, and make a grimdark Zelda game again, after two Big games with a 'comforting' artstyle, would they go the complete other way around ? What do you think ? What would you like to see ? What would make YOU buy this potential next title ?
