How is pre-Islamic Persian culture viewed by the government of the Islamic Republic?

I believe that the government of the Islamic Republic views the historical, cultural and archaeological heritage of ancient pre-Islamic Persia with a bad eye.

I study that perhaps they even destroyed works of art and archaeological and historical artifacts from that period. But I'm not sure, you're the ones who know that.

Anyway... What does the Islamic republic treat this period and the archaeological artifacts corresponding to it?
