widsth is overhated
let me explain.
as a general rule of thumb, you should go prototype amber over widsth if you're going to start building Neuvillette. but I see a lot of hate on widsth when people haven't really even taken into account the full build. to get this out of the way: widsth doesn't have a passive on neuvillette. 1/3 chance to get the right buff and the buff only activates every other rotation; it's a f2p speedrun passive at best.
but that doesn't mean that it's unviable. now regarding widsth vs p. amber: if you don't have furina, your ER requirements will probably sit around 150%. do not even consider widsth, you need the energy. now with furina: a lot of neuv furi teams need around 120% ER at most, although some will require slightly more, but that's a good assumption unless no one is on fav and it's teammates with trashy energy generation.
a lot of people's best builds tend to meet ER requirements for their teams by coincidence, just from some ER subs that tend to be on their pieces with most roll value. in that case, both p. amber and widsth passives are useless. so it comes down to whether it's better to use a crit statstick or an hp statstick overall, and widsth does tend to win if you have a well balanced build. i do think as a general rule of thumb it shouldn't be reccomended as most players don't even know what a rotation is, but if you're minmaxxing it's good to consider this kind of stuff. hell, my furina is on harbinger of dawn as her best weapon since she needs zero ER, even though it's a dead substat, since fleuve provides less CV and i have no other hp or crit swords
