Quad Cortex, Darkglass A/O Question

Hello I have a DarkGlass A/O 500W head. My guitar player recently got a quad cortex and we were toying around with the idea of running guitar and bass through the cortex. Instead of spending a bunch of money on my own power stage, could I just use my DarkGlass head to power the Quad Cortex into my own cab? This would still be with him running his own power stage into his cab.
