Charleston NDLPT party?

I've seen videos and photos popping up online. What do we know about Calder and Ellen's party last night? Are they cooking up something or was this just a social event? I also find that an odd pairing. It was interesting to see who attended based on photos, but was more interesting was to see who was NOT in the photos.
