Did anyone of you defend your abuser(s)?

Did any of you defend your narcissists/abusers?

Like if your friends said they didn’t like your partner did you defend them?

Or if they said that their behavior was unacceptable, did you make excuses?

Did you lose friendships and relationships because of your relationship with your Narc?

If you did all of those things, what did it take for you to stop defending them? Was it the final discard?

No judgement for any of this. I just want to understand how these dynamics work and if I can help in anyway. I’ve only had narcissistic coworkers, bosses, friends, and coaches. Never a relationship.
