Pronunciation

Why do people misspell/mispronounce my name (Moira)??? I've been called Mira, Mora, and Moria. I understand that in the south people have accents but after I've explained it ten times to one person there shouldn't be an excuse cause even most of my teachers can say my name and they have accents! How do y'all think it's pronounced cause it's not adding up to me.
