Tips lifting from natural nail

Here to say, first, that I’ve never had tips before and I am freaking LOVING these. They make me feel so pretty and put together! Especially because my nails are usually naked (am a mom to young kids, so not much time or $ for nails.)

2nd: while this tech did an amazing job, she did accidentally leave gaps between the tip and my natural nail (see 3rd pic) where yucky things are now getting stuck. Like peanut butter and avocado. Germ-y, I know. How can I keep this little crevice clean and how could I prevent it next time? I considered filling it in myself with nail glue…regretting not having done that sooner.

3rd: open to any of your brilliant observations on shape and if there’s a better style that’d work for my hands! You all are so smart with this stuff.
