Is Patrick Mahomes REALLY that bad and dirty?

Im a broncos fan. Hate the chiefs, always will. I also was alive for the Brady Pats dynasty, and I’ve seen all sorts of bad calls in my life that have stirred controversy throughout the league. So with that said, it hurts to say this:

I think the Mahomes flop is the biggest overreaction i have seen in football in a long time.

I get it’s easy to just hate them, the chiefs are on their way to a possible 3-peat and they are annoying to see win, but seriously, how are the Chiefs really that much of a nasty team? Are there statistics to prove that they’re heavily favored, or is it just because we literally see them play more football than any other team in the league the past 3 years, and now it’s just recency bias?

I hate the Chiefs, but i legitimately just dont hate mahomes. Seems like a good kid who knows football, and maybe he pushes the envelope on rules, but i think that’s almost every great athlete ever that pushes limits and tests rules.

Idk, just already annoyed at SOME people in comments legitimately typing with the rage of a thousand bulls about how much the Chiefs are giga-fucked morons who kick dogs and eat babies. Like, ive been watching the games, i just dont think any of the complaints are near as egregious as theyre made out to be (but definitely not unwarranted either).

Edit: just want to say, real happy with the responses im getting. Good conversation and responses, and a surprisingly few number of people getting up in arms without providing a basis. Keep it up, i think this is a really interesting and important topic of recent.
