Silencer Shop wrong about Rotex-X compatibility?
So after long waiting on a back-in-stock notification, I finally bought a 7.62 Rotex-X (https://www.silencershop.com/b-t-rotex-762-full-size.html) from Silencer Shop. I really wanted the A2 version, but those have been out of stock everywhere for a while, and it tells me right there on the page that it's "fully hub compatible" and that an A2 mounting accessory is available. I also already have a gun that takes SF mounts, so I figured it would be a good two-for-one, or rather about 5 guns total that I could mount this thing to between the two hubs. Seemed like a perfect plan, so I ordered it, and soon after found somewhere that had the NATO adapter too.
Unfortunately, with can now in hand, I can't see how I'd change the adapters. If there's threading between the body and the adapter it's far too tight to budge by hand, and I don't have any tools that fit. Even if I did, the body doesn't look all that sturdy to me and I would worry about applying torque to the tiny notches when it's this tight.
According to this thread, (https://www.reddit.com/r/NFA/comments/16zriup/bt\_rotexx\_a2\_surefire\_variants/) meanwhile, what I want just isn't possible without gunsmith work, but Silencer Shop advertises the compatibility.
Am I SOL? I can still use the can of course, but only on a fraction of the guns I wanted to, and I now also have a NATO adapter that is totally useless, and will remain useless even if I buy another can (which of course would have to be one coming with its own NATO adapter.)
