I am newly pregnant — can I fast during Ramadan?

As salaaamu alaykum. I found out I’m pregnant Alhamdullilah. I was wondering if I have to fast during Ramadan? It’s so early, the pregnancy, but I’m slightly nervous because first trimester is when the risk of miscarriage is the highest. What is the Islamic ruling on this?
