Metal like Thantifaxath

The trio are able to put together albums that are sonically so haunting, beautiful, and raw. The way they add progressive metal influences to their music, while maintaining the angry soul of black metal is caviar to my ears. And the vocals, add something that is almost suspenseful and broken similar to the singer from a band like City of Caterpillar.

I have found some groups that are sort of similar in style like Outre and Behexen, but they still don't capture the feeling of impending terror that Thantifaxath does.
