Movie Marathon Help - One Movie Per Genre!

Hey everyone! I’m stuck at home with a stomach bug and want to do a movie marathon to pass the time. I’m looking for a lineup with one movie per genre, but I’d love for them to be connected in some way—like featuring the same actor/actress, director, or a common theme.

I’m open to any genres (horror, comedy, action, thriller, etc.), and I like movies that are fun, engaging, or just good watches while I’m feeling under the weather. Bonus points if they don’t require too much brainpower but are still enjoyable!

Some movies I’ve liked in the past: Game Night, Freaky, Clueless, No Hard Feelings, Lake Placid, Bottoms, Black Christmas (1974) and Easy A.

Any recommendations? Would love to see some creative connections between the picks!
