suggestions for movies with captivating worldbuilding?

Any fantasy/sci-fi (or other fiction genres) movies with absolutely captivating worldbuilding and a new and creative concept? I've been a bit let down with movies like Annihilation (2018) and other scifi movies where the concept they're grasping at is interesting but the writing and worldbuilding feel extremely stupid. Any movie suggestions would be greatly appreciated <3
