Hypothetically if MK 9 were to get a remake/remaster would you want it?

MK 9 is one of the few games fans have been wanting a remake/remaster of for a while and I'd love to see it happen, yes I know they'd have to make some changes (legally can't use Freddy anymore) but maybe swap him out for someone like Shredder, Chucky, Deathstroke, or even Art the Clown. I think they should do a remake/remaster of MK 9 (mostly because of the controversy/drama with Mk 1).
