Is Evaris worth investing in?

Recently got Evaris from the Lamp of Choice and I heard he was very good. His moves do seem pretty good at R2 so I’m considering investing in him. I’m looking for a better defense team as currently I’m kinda just swapping between having my attack on defense. Is he worth it? And if so, would he be a good choice on defense?
