What happened to sacred statues

After the release of Kalea on Main servers, the button prompt for changing towers into staues does not pop why tho? Also we all know it is a useless feature but why can't we get most of the statues via Twilight coin?(the Triangle ones) most of them are still starlight exclusives, why not turn old ones into attainable by twilight coin.
