Growing up, was anyone else examined in just underwear at the doctor?
This came up in conversation with my wife the other week. When I was growing up, from as early as I can remember until I stopped seeing the pediatrician as a late teenager, annual checkups and physical exams were always done in just underwear without any kind of gown. This would have been early 90s to around 2003. My wife thought that was really strange and I started doing some research and I can't find anything at all online. I always thought this was just like a standard accepted thing, but now I'm not so sure. Did anyone else have this experience?
