Insurance coverage and serious problems

I've spent hours looking at the affordable Care act insurance choices, I understand it better as insurances but I still have no clue which ones would the best for someone post menopause. I have had some abnormal problems that I find a little bit scary, this is the first time that I will try to apply for health insurance. Would you mind sharing what you have insurance plans wise? Or how can I find out if different insurances cover for whatever problems I have? My mom ended up having a hysterectomy and I am afraid I might have to have one too. Tia
