Ear popping when using a mechanical keyboard
Two years ago I bought my first mechanical keyboard and when typing my ears would start to pop (hear popping sounds). It's extremely annoying and even kinda painful at moments. I stopped using it and gave it to my girlfriend. Eventually the backlighting broke and I had a reason to return it. I really enjoyed typing on it and since I'm a programmer and a vim user, the keyboard is very important to me. I'd like to get one again, but having this problem makes it unusable.
Has someone ever heard about or experienced such a thing and is there a way around it?
PS: I'm writing here before asking a doctor.
Edit (October 2022): I did go to a doctor shortly after I posted here - he didn't help much and said there's nothing wrong and I'm "equalising the pressure" whatever that means. Since then I've learned to live with it and maybe I'm fooling myself, but it's not as bad anymore (still get it from time to time, but a lot less then before).
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
