Ghost Spider is a big flex pick. For me she’s just there to be able to proc an extra hit with the shield. Ideally you’d play Sammy on 2, then move the shield to him and play ghost spider on 3, along with whatever 2 drop.

Squirrel Girl on turn 1 or 2 gives you a 3 cost Mockingbird for turn 3 or to save. If you have Kate bishop then save mockingbird for after you play the arrows. Even if you don’t and bird stays at 3 cost you can play her and mystique to copy your BM or Kazar.

Iron patriot can also come in clutch and be another discount for bird.

I had been trying samsquanch and mysterio in place of ghost spider and iron patriot but you can run out of room really fast.
