What’s the longest you’ve gone without kissing your spouse?

My wife and I (45F and 46M) are on two weeks because I’ve been sick — and it’s gotten bizarre here.

  • Hugs… but no kisses
  • Touches… but no kisses
  • Snuggling… but no kisses
  • Modified intimacy… but no kisses

This is BY FAR the longest we’ve ever gone without kissing, in our 23 years of marriage.

We are daily kissers at minimum, so not having this in our marriage feels way more disruptive and fucked up to me then when we didn’t have sex for 6 weeks after each of our babies was born.

The longer we haven’t kissed, the more it resonates in me that kissing her is a totally different connection than having sex with her. And it’s a connection I need even more than sex. Does that make ANY sense to anyone reading this?

But for other couples here — What’s the longest you’ve gone since you were married without kissing your spouse?
