Mourning the fact that I may have to get a roommate soon

I miscalculated some bills that are due soon. Normally I don't have to worry too much about paying my bills. I don't have a lot of disposable income but I budget and plan and it's usually fine. The hurricanes a few months ago wiped out my savings (totaled my car RIP) and put me behind a little. Ugh getting a roommate seems to be the quickest way to reduce my expenses for a few months.

I have some money come in at the end of February but I don't like to count my chickens before they hatch so I'm reluctant to just rely on that. Because if something happens I'll be SOL. I'll be spending the next few weeks looking for remote gigs but if that doesn't pan out....

I'm just venting. I know it's not the end of the world. And it would only be for 6 months max so I'd be back to my living alone life eventually.
