Received an email asking $1950 otherwise they leak my phone to contacts.

Based in England. Received an email this morning from a gmail account (carolpewage341) that had a pdf attached to it with threats of leaking my phone history and hacked camera etc to all my contacts if I don’t transfer $1950 to a Bitcoin address. They have my phone number and name. I’m not going to pay it but just wanted to know what I should and if there is a real risk of them following through of this threat? Thanks in advance

Edit - I have reported it to action fraud and reported it as spam. Can carry on with my day now, happy Sunday and thanks for the responses.
