forgetfulness

So i‘ve been taking lamotrigine for a bit more than 1.5years due to an epilepsy diagnosis. i the past few months ive been noticing that i keep forgetting random stuff. like telling friends the same thing twice without knowing it. or i dont remember what someone told what he would do. I really dont know if that has anything to do with the lamotrigine but idk what else it could be. Has anyone Experienced someting similar?
