What job prospects are there for a newly Graduated student with a M.S. in Biochemistry

I will be graduating within a year with a Masters in Biochemistry and I wanted to know what the job market is like out there for people like me. I know that the Bay Area (which I am from) has a booming Biotech industry but I've lived here my whole life and I've always wanted to move to Los Angeles. Are there any people that are in/ were in my boat? Any help would be great.
