The missing piece?

So, MLS announced a cash trade system today. Which means that teams can buy players for straight cash from other teams. 2 buys and 2 sells per team allowed per season

There’s 2 MVP caliber players that are available right now in this system.

Evander (from Portland) and Lucho Acosta (from Cincinnati)

Personally, if we landed either one, it would be a massive win. I think both would fit phenomenally as a playmaking 10 in the midfield. Something we’ve been missing since prime Vela, although when Bogusz is vibing he fills that role sometimes.

To the MLS nerds like me, who would you prefer? Acosta or Evander?

(And to the doubters… MLS execs have known this was coming for a while. But it became official today. This has JT’s fingerprints all over it and I’d be shocked if we don’t buy at least 1 player from within league. Can’t guarantee it’ll be one of these, but we will buy someone)
