Why Do You Think She Left Him and Immediately Joined Bumble While He’s Facing Criminal Charges?

So, there’s this story that’s been all over the news here in Kenya about Khalif Kairo, the businessman who’s now facing serious fraud charges. What caught my attention isn’t just the case itself but the fact that his girlfriend of several years left him almost immediately after his arrest… and now she’s on Bumble.

I mean, imagine that. You’re at your lowest, your whole life is under a microscope, and the person you thought was your ride-or-die bails out. It’s like adding insult to injury.

Now, I’m not saying she’s wrong (or right), but I can’t stop wondering:

Was this relationship already doomed, and his arrest just gave her the perfect excuse to leave?

Could this be a case of self-preservation, where she didn’t want to be associated with someone who might go down for fraud?

Or is it just about moving on quickly because, well, life goes on?

What do you think? Does her timing say something about her character, or was she justified in jumping ship?

I’m curious to hear your take. Have you seen similar situations? Would you stay by your partner in such circumstances? Let’s talk.
