What makes Kendrick so great if you could narrow it down to one thing?

Is it his authenticity? His consistency? Passion? Work ethic? His ability to connect with people? His ability to be innovative and keep his fanbase on their toes with his creativity and ability/willingness to push boundaries? He never allowed himself to be placed in a box; he displayed that early with TPAB.

Is it his versatility? His ability to make something very sonically pleasing and catchy yet still be filled with substance? I mean, people are still deciphering the albums they have been sitting with for years. Even the mystery he maintains and the frequency/style of his music releases make Kendrick unique as an artist. When he drops, it’s like everything stops for a bit, and everyone is only talking about Kendrick’s new album; it’s an event in itself.

While all of these things, and more, attribute to making Kendrick who he is as a whole, what would it be if you had to attribute it to one thing or sum it up succinctly?
