Do you believe in God?

This world feels hellish. Consider buying and eating a pork sandwich. Multiple humans had to suffer and labor. Pigs had to suffer, live in wretched conditions, and be butchered. The land suffered growing wheat. We're like demons. Can't judge though. Let he without sin cast the first stone.

Perhaps there are a few angels among us. So many of us are trying our best. We're living in this hell together with the challenges of our age: global warming, artificial intelligence, pollution, antibiotic resistant disease — I could go on and on —  I hope we can persevere and make our hell less hellish.

However, if we look at raw nature — it too can be hellish. Predators & prey. There is so much suffering. It is inescapable here. It's the nature of our world.

Living here opens Pandora's Box. A stream of demons come out. All us humans have left at the end is hope. It's a mystery how the universe works. So much is beyond human comprehension.

We're living in Plato's Cave. We see shadows of perfect forms. In some sense I do think fragments of God live in our collective unconsciousness. I hope God understands our pain and suffering in a Christ-like way.

I love you all. Please be kind to one another. I'm praying to God.

I really like this C.S. Lewis quote
"I think that every prayer which is sincerely made even to a false god, or to a very imperfectly conceived true God, is accepted by the true God"
