What's up with the sudden increase in "Yuji will die" theories?
I mean I get why people seem to think that he'll die as the countdown video repeats Wusake's exact words about dying a proper death....BUT those words are a curse that he placed on Yuji unintentionally. Hell, the chapter that was shown is the same one where Yuji finds out that there's more to his life than letting it be defined by his grandfather's philosophy on life thereby lifting the "curse" of his grandfather.
In the same chapter Yuji even offers to spare Sukuna's life IF he leaves Megumi's body and returns to his body. (Meaning that he won't off himself once Sukuna transfers back to him)
And even in the next chapter 266 during his talk with Megumi, he reiterates his position again by saying that he can't tell Megumi to live and that his(Yuji's) life will get even more lonely after Nobara's presumed death and now Megumi potentially.
So again, why people are assuming that he'll sacrifice himself/die?
