AP or AD jax

just wondering is ap jax better or ad jax i have started playing jax more and more and i wanted to know if i should go ap or ad jax i have played a lot of AP and let me tell you its so awesome you can carry fights and win teamfights but you have to be careful. While AD feels weak it doesnt do as much dmg and is really slow in farming i have tried mixed jax and it was horrible any thoughts
