Underwriting Associate - Career paths other than being Underwriter?
Hi, I’m an Underwriting associate. In an ideal world, I would just continue being an UA since I don’t have to talk to clients, and I like being in the support role. But I’ve been thinking about career path options since cost of living continues to be a concern. I don’t think being an Underwriter is something that I’m interested in being despite that I know it pays significantly better.
So I’ve been thinking about transferable skills that I could use from my time of being an UA, but the only ideas I have at the moment are administrative assistant and project management, which even then I’m still feeling unsure if they even are options.
I would appreciate can ideas or stories of being able to change fields from being an UA.
