Does zerodha deduct tax and show profit ??

I'm newbie and Sold my premier energy Ipo holding today!! At the time of selling my p&l was around 20k but now it show 28k only in my account including the amount I invested in ipo. So I assumed zerodha deducted short term capital gain tax which is 20% and then transferred fund to my account. Does this happen everytime??
