Received an email from incometax department mentioned PrincipalContactDetail was updated, but do not have any such thing setup already. Should I be worried?
Received this email today from incometax.gov.in .
However I have no idea about PARMAL TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED, nor have I come across them ever. I checked and they are a technology company but I am sure I never worked for them either ( I am an IT professional ). What should I do?
I tried calling the numebrs, but they weren't reachable and I tried checking my income tax portal but couldn't find anything that is related!
The PAN number is actually masked but does bear the same first and last digits of my PAN CARD Number, so I am not sure if this is a mistake or intentional!
