Affirmative Action Banned In United States
The US Supreme Court has just voted to make Affirmative Action programs for admissions into higher education unconstitutional. These affirmative action programs aimed to "even out" the number of people of groups into Universities. However in fact these policies heavily discriminated against Asians and whites, favoring natives, blacks and Latinos. Depending on your race this may be either good news or bad news for your prospects into getting into elite universities. This ruling effectively makes universities legally "colorblind", meaning that hopefully racism from university admissions should be quelled.
I have attached images of some egregious examples of racial prejudice due to affirmative action in University admissions. I hope that everyone can see how evil it is for individuals to be discriminated against due to things they cannot change due to large scale statistics and I'm happy that this antiquated and racist system has been remedied.
TL;DR: US bans racist University admissions which mostly discriminated against Asians.
