Booty Call Etiquette: Do’s and Don’ts

Everyone loves having a DTF friend at their disposal, but there are unspoken booty call rules. Here’s the Do’s and Don’ts I have made for me:

Do’s:

• Do be straightforward. No one enjoys someone trying to be hard-to-get or beating around the bush at 3 in the morning. Make your texts as clear as can be: ask if they’re DTF or respond yes/no to them asking you.
• Do experiment & try new kinks. Worst comes to worst, you’ll just have to find a new booty call. You may as well try all the things you’ve fantasized about but were too afraid to bring up with partners you were deeply involved with.

Don’ts:

• Don’t try to plan or orchestrate meetings. Lesson 1 of booty call etiquette is that it’s always spontaneous.
• Don’t spend the night. While this is a grey area for one night stand etiquette, booty calls don’t call for the intimacy of falling asleep and waking up together.
• Don’t meet each other’s friends. One of the best booty call tips and tricks is not to get involved in personal lives. You’re meeting each other purely for your physical needs.
