Jump Pack is addictive

Addictive isn't even a strong enough word. I started using when I was doing some low-level farming, as a means of transportation to cover more area. I actually hadn't played it even once since the buff (2 months ago?) and after a double-digit number of missions, I managed to get the hang of it and make the best out of the benefits it gives you. Climbing a small hill or or a rock to jump takes you 50 meters ahead in no time, and getting away from EXTREMELY sticky situations becomes trivial. Jumping instead of going around walls and building becomes the default, and don't even get me started on flying through a bustling terminid nest, aiming my grenade gun towards the hole and nailing it mid-air. It makes you feel like Neo from the Matrix!!! But what sold me completely were the games I played without equipping the jump pack. I would spam "X" non stop, and get frustrated when not-jumping got me killed. I realized that when something becomes a mode of transportation intrinsic for your character, (unlike the recon vehicle which is extrinsic), the game becomes almost unplayable without it. It's almost to the degree that it's unfair. I feel that the jump pack is different to all other stratagems in the sense. I wish it was a booster, an armor perk, or simply just a part of the character. I feel like I'm stuck on 3 stratagems forever now, since playing without JP is almost unplayable.

Jump pack users, can you relate?
